Simple And Easy Ways to Keep Your Hair Healthy In Summer Season

Summer season causes a lot of problems to skin and hair so in this season it is important to consume a lot of hydrated foods and plenty of water to keep your skin and hair fresh and in good condition. Because in the summer season hair turns so dull and lusterless due to the warm weather, sun and sweating.

It seems that the hair lack the required nourishment, the sun turns your voluminous, healthy hair dull and lifeless. In this article we will tell you that how you can protect your hair in summers from the heat, sun and humidity.

To protect your skin from UV rays you use a sunscreen, your scalp is basically a skin so you should protect your scalp too from the sun. a scarf or hat works as a sunscreen so always cover your head and hair with a scarf or hat while going out in the sun; it provides extra protection from UV rays and also helps your scalp to retain moisture. Your scarf or hat reduces damage caused by the wind, pollution and protects color treated hair.

Hair turns to damage because of the sweat in the scalp so wash your hair regularly using a mild shampoo to hold on that shine and health. Do not use a hard shampoo though it is proven to be best in removing the dirt from hair.

To prevent the sweat from sticking your hair, use a conditioner and try to use a natural or homemade conditioner. Dilute apple cider vinegar in water and rinse your hair with it is a quick natural conditioner and will keep your hair smooth and lustrous.

Drink plenty of water in hot season because it is not only good for skin but for the hair too, our hair tends to be dry in this season and more intake of water can easily replace the lost water from the body in the form of sweat and it also beneficial for the hair as well.

Water intake also prevents hair fall because when you drink water, the cells in the body immediately absorb it and this will help to keep the hair follicles moist and flexible.
Split ends make your hair even more dry and weak so manage split ends through trimming and cutting them regularly when they pop out.

Trimming the split ends will really help this season and apply hair oil on tips after you have done with cutting the split ends. Avoid using hair dryers, straightener and curling irons in the summer season because heat makes your hair dry and frizzy so always let your hair air dry in this season.

Giving an oil massage to the scalp during summer is very good to follow to dump the dust and dirt out of the scalp. It is also recommended to improve the blood circulation of the scalp and strengthen the roots.

Massage with warm oil and you will thrice a week and you will notice a remarkable change in your hair texture. In the warmer months, use a wide tooth comb instead of a hair brush because wide tooth combs are most gentle for untangling hair as brushes can pull  and tear when they snag strands.
