Home Made Shampoo

This article is going to be about how to make homemade shampoo. It is very simple and easy to make shampoo at home but you have to know some of the ingredients that go into your homemade shampoo otherwise it may not be as effective. The ingredients you need include lemon juice, egg yolks, olive oil, crushed nuts or walnuts, mustard seeds, dandruff and shampoo powder. If you are interested in making a more expensive version of homemade shampoo then you can use apricot kernel oil and mix in one teaspoon of molasses.

Method of preparation of Home made shampoo: Place lemon juice, olive oil and mustard seeds in a pan with a lid and heat the mixture over a low flame until it boils. Strain off the liquid and allow it to cool. Rinse the mixture and leave it to cool. You can either do this in a plastic container or in a bowl that you have cut into halves. Add in the dry ingredients, which include the lemon juice, and put the pan in the freezer for an hour or two so that it will freeze. Once you are ready to use, preheat your iron or stove top and put in your preheated bowl.

How to use your homemade shampoo: When you are ready to use the mixture, pour it into a wide-mouthed plastic container. Add in the dry ingredients and put the container into the iron. If you want to get faster results, then use a heat-proof bowl or container that will keep the mixture from heating up and burning. Turn on the hot setting and massage the mixture into your hair.

Let it sit for about five minutes. Then wash it out. Once it’s washed, squeeze out the mixture from your hair and rinse it out with warm water. Put the mixture into a bottle. Either use a label maker or write up a label using a marker, or both. Store the bottle in a dark spot out of the sun.

If you want to give it a spin, shake the bottle. This will open up the mixtures and add some extra luster to it. Shake again and then use your fingers to smooth out the bubbles in the mixture. If you don’t have any gel in your house, then use apple cider vinegar. Pour it into a spray bottle and then spray the mixture onto your hair. Allow it to sit for a few minutes before rinsing out.

If you have very curly hair, then you may want to try your hand at using homemade shampoo. Try running the mixture through a flat-iron. There you can let the mixture gather into a pumice stone and use it to straighten your hair. You can also purchase a homemade straightener from a craft store. When you straighten your hair with a homemade straightener, it will be shinier and silkier than the straightener that you purchased from the store. Homemade shampoos are great for homemade hair.
