Take freshly squeezed lemon juice and water in equal amount, pour it into spray bottle. Spray it on the hair and let the hair dry naturally in sunlight for half an hour and rinse it off thoroughly.  If you want to get more nourishing and effective lightening treatment, use lemon juice with honey, olive oil or chamomile tea.

Cinnamon is a spice that has the potential property of mild natural bleaching agent so you can try it to lighten your black hair. If you use it consistently your black hair may be slightly reddish tone due to the earthy color of cinnamon. Take cinnamon sticks and grate them into a fine powder, make a mixture or paste with two tablespoon of cinnamon powder and four table spoon of your favorite conditioner, combine both of the things well.

Apply the mixture on the roots and comb your hair after applying the mixture to spread it through the length.  Cover your head with a plastic shower cap and leave it at least four hours or if it is possible, leave it for overnight.  Then shampoo your hair, if you feel irritation after applying the mixture first time then don’t worry because irritation should subside after two minutes or lesser. By using this mixture, your hair not only will turn into lighten but will also smell delicious.
